About Martina Stone

Martina Stone is an HR professional and coach with demonstrated experience in project management, learning and development and leading strategic HR with Fortune 1000 companies. Through her career, Martina has led the Executive Education team at USC’s Center for Effective Organizations in the Marshall School of Business and led HR strategy and team effectiveness internally. 


Martina currently spends much of her time working with teams improving and supporting internal HR functions for both start-ups and established organizations. Martina’s experience includes implementing HR operations to ensure effective policies and compliance and determined best practices for payroll, benefits, employee engagement, employment contracts and on and off boarding.


Martina is inspired by each organization and team she works with to create a thoughtful plan and discover what action can be taken to make the savviest impact on the organization. She has extensive experience leading and navigating project teams and working with complex groups of stakeholders. 


Martina has a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and Master of Science in Human Resource Management from The University of Southern California. 


In her free time, Martina enjoys traveling, cooking and reading when home in Los Angeles. Martina also competes with a barbershop style chorus based in Santa Monica, California.
